Collection: cacao collective

Cacao Collective has been sustainably sourced from a handful of farming communities in regions like Satipo and Tarapoto, in Peru.

This cacao is sourced from cooperatives that get fairly remunerated for their work. Farming communities constantly receive courses on organic farming practices and other courses that are valuable for their communities. Some communities receive organic agriculture training in their native Awajun dialect - this helps to preserve their identity and their language, while understanding the methods to cultivate the cacao in a sustainable manner.

This ensures everyone is aware of what is needed to protect the environment and to make sure the cacao will pass the yearly organic certification audit.
